The Perinatal Health Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Black women through pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period by offering education, resources, and direct services. As their impact and community engagement grew, their existing space no longer met their operational needs. Recognizing the importance of their work, they aimed to expand doubling their square footage while staying within the same building to maintain accessibility for their clients.
We collaborated closely with them to design a new, expanded layout that reflects their mission and supports both their current and future programming. The reimagined space includes thoughtfully planned clinical rooms, flexible educational areas, and welcoming community zones. This expansion not only increases their capacity but also enables them to deliver a broader range of services in a space that feels nurturing, functional, and aligned with their vision.
