Designing for Multi-Generational Living
February 1, 2024Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a fantastic holiday season and a wonderful New Year’s celebration. As we step into 2024, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on Rooted’s journey through 2023 and share some exciting plans for the year ahead.
Reflecting on Growth:
Last year marked a significant chapter in Rooted’s evolution. What began in July 2021 became my full-time passion in February 2023. Over the past 11 months, the company has grown in many ways than one. For one, it went from being just me to becoming a team. Our website and social media design and strategy has changed and improved immensely thanks to the help of our website and social media managers at Decena Media. We provide high quality educational content and insight into projects we are working on. Also, I have been working to create a more streamlined onboarding process for clients and part of it was developing packages to simplify the selection of services for clients, yet allowing customization with a la carte services, as well.
Diverse Projects, Meaningful Impact:
The best part of 2023 was that we were able to work on various types and sizes of projects. We are grateful to have worked on or are still currently working on a variety of types of projects that make an impact on the individual or group of people. Personally, I have enjoyed onboarding more projects that use all the skills I have in both the residential and commercial realm. As well as informing people on the process of a construction project and other architectural information that is not easily accessible. I have also learned a lot this year in being a leader, firm owner, and Architect.
2024 Vision:
Looking at what lies ahead into 2024, I have several goals for the company. First and foremost, I want to be able to keep improving the onboarding process and client experience. I, also, want to take on more projects than last years, especially with clients that are aligned with our vision and purpose. And of course, creating great designs that the clients and/or end-users are happy to experience. Additionally, I aim to expand our services to select areas in New Jersey after finalizing authorization.
Educational Offerings and Outreach:
While architectural services remain our core, in 2024 we will be promoting our merchandise more to reach those who would enjoy having or gifting them. I also plan to provide more booklets and even create checklists for clients are not able to use our services and they will be interconnected to Webinars and/or Seminars that I plan to host starting the second quarter of 2024. The webinars will also be recorded and posted for purchase on our website. Lastly, I will be expanding my reach by providing bi-monthly newsletters to keep people up to date with things more consistently. If you’re not subscribed to our newsletter, the subscription sign up is at the bottom of our website.
Gratitude and Commitment:
I want to thank everyone who has supported Rooted this past year, and I look forward to creating more architectural designs and providing more information on all these products and services. As well as, staying consistent with the monthly blogs and social media content.
